What is a Thread lift?
Thread lifts use medical grade sutures to lift your deeper facial tissues though tiny holes. This procedure is ideal for people with a weakened jawline due to facial droop resulting in jowls. The threads also improve the deep fold in the mouth/cheek border and accentuate the cheeks.
During this procedure, small, barbed threads are passed underneath your skin from the temple area to at least five points along your face. When pulled tight, the threads lift the deeper tissues in the face. No skin is removed and therefore any excess skin bunches up underneath the hairline. This normally settles over the first two weeks.
The long-term results from thread lifts are very promising and this procedure remains a favourite for those who want to avoid the risks of a surgical facelift.

FAQ's
Your skin will look really tight after a thread lift as the threads are generally ‘over-pulled’. You may see some folds on the side of your face and feel the threads under your skin in the early days. But don’t worry, these irregularities will settle down within a week or so.
You don’t need to use any specific products after a thread lift, just wash your face as normal and apply an antibiotic cream to the injection point.
The results of a thread lift are immediate! Your face shape should change dramatically with a better jawline and fuller cheeks.
Most people will not need any further threads for 12-18 months. In some cases, a redo-thread procedure may be necessary if the facial tissues start to drop again.
