sculpt your body your way with bodytite

BodyTite is a viable alternative to conventional liposuction, BodyTite offers a host of advantages over traditional methods, making it a preferred choice for numerous individuals. By harnessing radiofrequency-assisted liposuction techniques, this treatment minimizes the invasive nature commonly associated with liposuction alternatives. As a result, patients benefit from a more comfortable fat removal and cellulite reduction experience, setting new standards in the industry.

How Does Bodytite Work?

BodyTite harnesses the power of advanced radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) technology to contour your body with precision and finesse. This innovative approach ensures efficient fat removal and cellulite reduction, all while minimizing discomfort and downtime. With BodyTite, you can achieve smoother, more sculpted contours without the need for invasive surgery.

FAQ's

Bodytite is ideal if you are slim (BMI<30) with just a few stubborn areas of fat on your body. If you have large amounts of fat in these areas, Mr Ghattaura may advice you to have surgical liposuction.

Commonly treated areas include flanks and hips, armpits, bra strap folds, inner thighs, and small fatty excess on the lower tummy.

Yes – one of the major advantages of Bodytite is the ability to shrink your fat whilst you are awake! The whole procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, meaning that just the area treated is anaesthetised so you should not feel any pain.

When you come in for your procedure, Mr Ghattaura will first see you in his office and discuss the procedure and complications with you one further time. He will then ask you to sign a consent form as well as taking photographs of the area to be treated. Mr Ghattaura will then carefully mark up these areas with a pen and check them with you. He will then take you through to the procedure room.

Once you are in the procedure room, Mr Ghattaura and his nurse will make sure you are completely comfortable, before preparing the area to be treated. This preparation involves cleaning your skin with a medical grade antiseptic, before applying sterile drapes to the rest of your body to reduce infection risk. Mr Ghattaura will then inject local anaesthetic into the areas being treated before starting the procedure.

He will then make very small keyhole incisions in your skin, to insert the Bodytite probe into the fatty layer. He will then shrink the underlying fat using this probe as well as tightening your overlying skin with the skin attachment.

The whole procedure takes about 45-60mins. At the end of the procedure, Mr Ghattaura will close the keyhole incisions with dissolvable stitches and apply a small dressing. He will then apply a compression garment over the affected area.

You are safe to go home when you feel comfortable (normally about an hour after the procedure) and we recommend you have somebody to drive you home. You will then need to continue wearing your compression garment for 6 weeks following your treatment.

Ideally, you need to take it easy for the first 2-3 days after your procedure. Most people are back to light work after this. It is likely that the treated area will begin to swell in the first couple of days after the procedure and may bruise extensively. The bruising normally settles within 5-7 days, but the swelling can take up to 3-months to improve.

  • Discomfort during/after the treatment.
  • Bruising and swelling.
  • Temporary redness (erythema) of the treated area.
  • Nerve Injury causing weakness of the affected area or numbness/tingling in the area treated.
  • Scarring at the site of the Bodytite skin entry points.
  • Scarring of the skin of the treated area if the skin surface is disrupted or burns to the skin.
  • Fat necrosis – hard lumps under the skin caused by fat cell death and calcification. Occasionally, liquefied fat can discharge from the skin incisions for 3-4 weeks.
  • Infection is rare, but should it occur, treatment with antibiotics and/or surgical intervention may be. If signs of infection such as pain, heat, blisters, or surrounding redness develop, please call the clinic immediately.
