Laser Scar Treatment

Cosmetic Solutions for Scar Reduction

What is laser scar treatment?

Understanding the problem

Scars can cause discomfort and self-consciousness, whether from trauma, surgery, or acne. At our clinic, led by renowned plastic surgeon Mr Amar Ghattaura, our team of skin specialists offers personalised treatments for scar reduction.

We can treat and reduce a wide range of scars, from acne and trauma scarring to surgical and keloid scars. Each approach is tailored to meet your unique needs.

How do we treat scars?

Scar treatment involves various laser options based on scar size, depth, and location. Common treatment options include:

Carbon dioxide (CO2)

Ideal for deep scars, they penetrate deeply into the skin with high-energy beams.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

Besides reducing scar visibility, IPLs alleviate pain and sensitivity. They effectively reduce discolorations, resulting in more even-toned skin."

Injections

This wavelength penetrates deeper into the skin, promoting healing and reducing inflammation. It is beneficial for conditions like rosacea, psoriasis, and eczema, and it can also aid in reducing post-treatment redness and irritation.
