For some people, the down time associated with MaxFx laser resurfacing is too long.For this reason, our UltraPulse CO₂ laser has two tailored settings, the MaxFx mode and the Active Fx mode. The MaxFx mode, produces a more intense skin resurfacing, (managing deeper wrinkles), whereas the Active Fx mode (CO2-lite version) produces a less intense burn and shorter recovery. As a result, the MaxFX™ can produce incredible results in a single treatment, wheras the ActiveFX™ can provide noticeable results in a single treatment with much less down-time.
